Course Content (Syllabus)
Metric spaces, the theorem of Baire. Normed linear spaces, Banach spaces - Finite dimensional spaces, compactness - Inner product spaces, Hilbert spaces - Linear operators and linear functionals - Duality - The Hahn-Banach theorem - The principle of uniform boundedness - The open mapping and closed graph Theorems.
