Learning Outcomes
On completion of the module a student will : 1. have described the principles, the rules and the ways concerning the acquisition, administration, management and disposal of church property in Orthodox Church. 2. have described the revenues and financial means of church ministers according to the Holy Scripture, the Holy Tradition and the canons of Greek Orthodox Church 3. have understood and evaluated the provisions of canon law concerning the administration and the management of church property. 4. have become familiar with the special legal treatment of the clergymen and the monks as far as financial matters (enumeration, insurance, retirement, inheritance etc) are concerned

Course Content (Syllabus)
This module focuses upon the right of church dominion over property within historical and theological contexts. It examines the acquisition, administration and disposal of church property.
