Learning Outcomes
In this cource, the student will learn the concepts and methods of linear algebra, and how to use them to think about problems arising in computer science. The student will write small programs in pseudocode to implement basic tasks of linear algebra.
Course Content (Syllabus)
Linear systems of equations. Matrix operations. Inverse Matrix. Gaussian Elimination. Vectos spaces and subspaces. Linear dependence and indepedence.Base of vector space and dimension. Linear maps. Gram-Schmidt process. Determinants and inverse matrix. Eigenvalues and eigenvectors. Diagonalization of a matrix. Cayley-Hamilton Theorem, SVD.
