Students will: a) acquire the fundamental background knowledge and skills in programming in order to develop applications for engineers as well as other scientific applications using Visual Basic .NET b) be able to develop a software with a graphical user interface c) be able to easily learn other programming languages

Course Content (Syllabus)
This is an introductory lesson to fundamental programming principles, which are necessary for the development of geoinformation systems, scientific applications and programs for all fields of expertise of a surveyor engineer. The programming language used throughout the course is Microsoft Visual Basic along with the integrated development environment of Microsoft Visual Studio.

Description
Student are required to take both written exams and exams on computer. Written exams will contain theoretical questions, while exams on computer evaluate the ability of the student to develop a program.
