Student Assessment
Description
Students are assessed on the basis of their participation in the classroom (attendance is mandatory), their performance in mid-term exams and minor projects and presentations (30% of total score) and the presentation of their final written assignment (70% of total score), the subject of which is left open to students’ choice. The dates of the mid-term exams and the public presentation of the final written assignment prepared by each student are fixed in consultation with the students. Also, in some semesters students are given the opportunity to be assessed through written mid-term examinations or/and final exams at the end of the semester. In this case, all exams (mid-term and final) cover all the topics of the course.
