Learning Outcomes
The course aims at knowledge acquisition, analysis, to assembly and drafting an artistic visual project (Project).
After completing the course, students will have the ability to form their own artistic program in all its stages, from conception to its implementation.
Course Content (Syllabus)
The course content is the acquaintance with the process of artistic creation called "artistic project". For this purpose a literary text, poem or text of theatrical play is chosen, which should be within the conceptual field in which the individual visual, artistic and conceptual proposal is articulated.
For the current academic year 2014/15 a poem by an American poet, writer and thinker Allen Ginsberg "The Howl" was chosen. During the first three lessons after critical approach and text of the analysis, presented visions and methods establish the conceptual framework with simultaneous juxtaposition respective examples from contemporary art history. Each student participating in the course, after researching at literature survey, presents his own personal analytical approach to recommend to others and supports arguments relationship of his proposal with one of the meanings that emits text, while making clear references to similar proposals visual artists of contemporary art.
The effort is assisted by Phd students (applying methods in literature research, proposal creation, support, etc.). They deliver their proposals in writing.
