Learning Outcomes
The aim of the course is to introduce students to advanced topics of microeconomic and macroeconomic aspects of tourism phenomenon like, the tourist behavior and the characteristics of tourism demand and supply, the impact of tourism on economic development and sustainability. Upon the successful completion of the course, students should have acquired the necessary theoretical knowledge so as to be able to develop autonomous ability in undertaking empirical research in tourism micro- and macro-economics.
