Learning Outcomes
1. To allow students to comprehend the relationship between computational techniques and the design act. 2. To introduce students to develop personal methodological tools for the accomplishment of design proposals. 3. To use research as a way of turning the traditional and linear ways of thinking as ways to think transversally.

Course Content (Syllabus)
The aim of this design studio is to explore the application of computation in design. The conventional linear way of developing a formal proposal that provides a solution to an initial brief is questioned through the introduction of a logic that takes into account all the parameters that affect design simultaneously. This logic is supported by the implementation of computational methods that offer a field of process in which all the design decisions act on several levels at the same time. The formal proposal emerges through the continuous processing in a bottom-up way and not linearly.
