Course Content (Syllabus)
Defense mechanisms of bee colony – hygienic behaviour, sanitary measures in the bee hive, bee diseases (pathogenesis, symptoms, treatment): American and European foulbrood, Nosemosis, Varroasis, Chalk brood, Stone brood, Tracheal mite, Waxmoth, Aethina tumida, birds, mammals, poisoning, pesticides residues, organic beekeeping
