Course Content (Syllabus)
The economics of tourism: Analysis of the tourism functoning in the context of national economy. Forms of bussines activities in tourism. Economic analysis (employment, income, performance indices, contribution in the national account). Appraisal methods of touristic development economic effects. Economic planning and monitoring of the touristic development. Geographical distribution of tourism’s supply and demand in global, national, regional and local levels. Theories and models of spatial tourism development. Tourism and environment. The environmental distributions of the touristic product. The effects of the touristic development on the natural and builded environment. Formation of the touristic policy. Marketing of the touristic product. Touristic advertisment of enterprises, institutions and organizations. Public relations in tourism.
