Learning Outcomes
After the successful execution of the experiments and the examination the students will be able to succesfully apply: -the collection of reliable experimental data, -the use of error analysis, -the statistical analysis of experimental data, -the compilation of publication-level laboratory reports Furthermore, they will be able to operate simple apparatuses and instruments

Course Content (Syllabus)
The basic goal of this laboratory course is the cosolidation of the teaching material of the courses Physical Chemistry I and II through the observation and the study of physicochemical phenomena experimentally and/or computationally, the collection of reliable experimental data, the familiarization with the Theory of Errors and the Statistical Analysis of the results as well as the composition of lab reports according to publication standards of scientific journals. 1.Viscosity of liquids 2. Binary vapor-liquid phase diagram 3. Thermocouple calibration study 4. Measurement of the surface tension of liquids 5.Calculation of static and dynamic properties of fluids from Molecular Dynamics Simulation data 6. Constant pressure calorimetry 7. Study of electrolytic plating.
