Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the course the teaching objective is to inform students about the history, the process of preaching and the aesthetic of functional art in the Church and to gain critical knowledge needed for the ministry of the functional arts and speech.

Course Content (Syllabus)
The course formed the main points concerning the modules: Introduction to Homiletics, History of Christian preaching, Features, meaning and purpose of preaching. The deacon's sermon. Types and form of preaching. Writing and pronunciation preaching. Aesthetics of speech and functional arts, church vestments, paintings.
The modules are structured as follows:
1. Introduction on Homiletics.
2. History of the sermon (a-iaionas)
3. History of the sermon (LA-kaionas)
4. The sermon today. Problems and concerns.
5. Meaning and purpose of preaching.
6. Characteristics of preaching.
7. Themes and sources of preaching.
8. Types of preaching.
9. Writing and delivery of the sermon. Aesthetics of speech.
10. Aesthetics of divine worship.
11. Issues of aesthetics. (Temple)
12. Issues of aesthetics. (Ware-vestments)
13. Issues of aesthetics. (Images-decoration-typical worship and aesthetics).

Student Assessment
Description
Must be student participation in tutorial and Operations and Exercises Conversational every Thursday at the celebration of the Divine Liturgy at the Church of the Holy Trinity on the 4th floor of the School.
Students taking the class to draw a sketch written preaching, which is mandatory and which is counted positively in the final evaluation.
