Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students: - Will get to know the historical formation and evolution of the services of the holy sacraments. - Will understand the liturgical terms included in the services of the holy sacraments. - Will deepen their understanding of the theological and spiritual meaning of the holy sacraments. - Will connect the theology of the holy sacraments with the theology and spirituality of the Church in general.

Course Content (Syllabus)
1. The holy sacraments and their deeper meaning. 2. Relationship between holy sacraments and rituals. 3. Christological character of the holy sacraments. 4. Pneumatological character of the holy sacraments. 5. Ecclesiological character of the holy sacraments. 6. The sacraments of Christian initiation in general. 7. The holy Baptism 8. The holy Chrismation 9. The Eucharist 10. The holy Matrimony 11. The holy Unction. 12. Symbols and reality in the divine liturgy. 13. Worldly dimension in the theology of the holy sacraments.
