Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the course students will be able to: - understand the requirements and specifications for the proper execution of a multimedia application, - understand the basic principles and technological specifications of the various forms of content /media assets, during a multimedia production /authoring project, with emphasis on the specificities of Multimedia Journalism, - combine the know-how with the laboratory experience and familiarity in the design, management and development of multimedia productions, - apply the acquired knowledge, experience and skills to produce and author content in various scenarios of Multimedia Journalism service, - participate equitably in larger multimedia production teams by contributing to their scientific expertise (e.g., journalism, communication, design, content production, etc.), - cooperate harmoniously with the other creative and technological disciplines of a Multimedia Production, and especially of a Multimedia Journalism project, understanding the needs and requirements of the various other groups and the associated development phases.

Course Content (Syllabus)
Multimedia Production /Multimedia Journalism topics and definitions, key methodological approaches, multimedia content formats, interfaces and interaction mechanisms, digital / non-linear storytelling technologies, multimedia content processing and management techniques, multimedia authoring environments, tools and products of multimedia production within the phases of analysis, design, development, debugging, formative and final evaluation, methods and practices for maintaining and promoting multimedia applications / Multimedia Journalism services.
