Upon completion of the course students will have: 1. understood the basic concepts of human-computer communication, 2. understood the meaning and characteristics of the interface, 3. acquire the basic knowledge of evaluating human-computer communication interfaces, 4. acquire the basic knowledge of designing human-computer communication interfaces.

Course Content (Syllabus)
The course deals with the subject of human-computer communication. This issue is very complex as there is an ever-increasing variety of computing devices nowadays used by humans. Specifically, the course examines human-computer communication, the characteristics of the interfaces and the interactions they support. Special reference is made to communication in the case of social media. A significant aspect is the presentation and application of user-interface design and evaluation methodologies.

Description
Use of slides (PowerPoint) when teaching the lesson. Providing additional material through the elearning.auth.gr platform (moodle). Contact students via email as well as the communication tools provided by the elearning.auth.gr platform. Evaluation through multiple choice questions on the elearning.auth.gr platform.
