Course Content (Syllabus)
Instrumentation and measurement procedures of reciprocatingengines. Diagnostic systems and recording with computer. Engines energy balance. Samplingand analysis of engine cylinder pressure data. Communication engine systems and electronic engine control units. Mapping of engine functional parameters. Analyzers with rapid response (flame ionization and chemiluminescence). Measurement of in-cylinderpollutants formation. Measurements ofsmoke emissions and particles matters (PM).Methodology of vehicles measurements and vehicle dynos. Emissions and fuel consumption of vehicles.
