Course Content (Syllabus)
In the framework of this course, globalization as a modern phenomenon and its effects on the modern school are discussed. Particular emphasis is laid on the detection of otherness in the Greek school and its various dimensions. Moreover, the features and functions of human interaction are examined, and the effects that the quality of social relations has on the social, emotional and cognitive development of the students are investigated. The concept of intercultural communication is analyzed and the factors which promote or hinder interpersonal relations in the multicultural school are detected.

Description
New technologies of information and communication, such as the pc for the projection of slides, videos etc., are used. Moreover, social media are utilized for the communication with the students.
