Learning Outcomes
Development and processing of the Dissertation. To present the production process and presentation of artwork as a unity. How to develop knowledge and understanding of contemporary art through the act of the workshop to meet the demands of modern art, social and cultural context. How to develop professionalism in free artistic practice, technical skills and production organizational skills in order to respond adequately to the level of the different application fields of visual arts that arise. The students must have the capacity to implement and find solutions to their creative ideas, experimental methods and conceptual proposals. To have the ability to negotiate and argue individual/team level. To understand the recruitment relationships and host of artwork from different viewers Content of perceptual capacity in which each project can be developed To acquire the ability to do research and gain familiarity with the language, materials and tools of visual arts The ability to act and link their personal work and group activity The ability to work and take effective practical application with morals, economy and implementation of health and safety rules. Course Content (Syllabus)
GENERAL FEATURES FOR THE CONTENT OF STUDIES OF THE 5th PAINTING STUDIO: The 5th Painting Studio focuses on teaching and free artistic studio research on painting with a more detailed form. It combines the tradition of artistic practice with modern and diverse ideas in the visual arts. Teaching and research on infrastructure of "artistic language". The artistic practice with the use of the design or general organization and composition of the pictorial space. SPECIFICALLY FOR THE 9th and 10th SEMESTER Supervised personal artistic research for the preparation and development of the dissertation. Research and studio practice on report and presentation of art work. DURING THE ENTIRE DURATION OF THE STUDIES CONDUCTED THROUGH ALL 10 SEMESTERS: • Lectures of invited artists and theorists of art. • Collaborations with other studios and directions of the department, with other departments of the Faculty of Fine Arts of AUTH. • Field trips or visits to major art events, museums and galleries. • Cooperation with cultural organizations and institutions, such as museums and galleries, or art schools of other universities. • Participation of students in the workshop exhibitions in Greece and abroad
