Learning Outcomes
After successfully completing the course the students have broaden their knowledge of differential and integral calculus of single-variable functions. The students have also familiarized themselves with more complex issues, such as Taylor-series expansion and approximation, the concept and the evaluation of improper integrals and the use of non-Cartesian coordinate systems.
Course Content (Syllabus)
Differential Calculus - Functions of one variable (Real Functions of a real variable, the derivative and the differential of the function, applications of a derivative, study of the real functions using derivatives) - Integral Calculus - Functions of one variable (Indefinite integrals, the definite integral, improper integrals, approximate methods, applications of integrals).
