Learning Outcomes
Expected educational outcomes are as follows: a) student knowledge of relevant legal branches and profundity in them, b) the coupling of theory and practice, through the solution of practical issues and the critical assessment of court decisions, c) the preparation of students to face relevant issues as future lawyers, notaries or judges, d) the acuteness of students critical legal thought, with their active participation in the course and e) the successful performance of students in written or oral evaluation tests.
Course Content (Syllabus)
Within the teaching framework of Cadastre Law the legal regulations pertaining to cadastral relationships –developed in the stage of land registration (Law 2308/1995, as amended and currently in force) as well as in the stage of Cadastre in force (Law 2664/1998, as amended current)– are being examined. On the other hand, within the teaching framework of Horizontal and Vertical Ownership, based on settings of the Civil Code and the Laws 3741/1929 and 1024/1971, primarily, the concept, acquisition, rights and obligations of beneficiaries as well as their protection are being approached. Emphasis is given to issues that have concerned the Courts, which, in fact, are being approached from the perspective of substantive and procedural law.
