Learning Outcomes
In the succesfull end of this course 1. the students will know the various kind of compositions in the byzantine music and their morphology 2. They will be able to see the unbreakable unity between word (lyrics) and melody in the Byzantine music 3. They will be able to analyze a composition and compare it to some other compositions of the same hymn, and present some paper on this.
