Learning Outcomes
Knowledge of the terminology of discrete event simulation. Ability to analyze a physical system and to develop a simulation model. Simulation model transformation using simulation environments (programming languages, Crystal Ball, Arena). Ability of statistical analysis and explanation of simulation results.

Course Content (Syllabus)
Design, analysis and development of simulation, random numbers, random numbers generators and simulation sampling, statostocal analaysis of simulation results, Applications in industrial managementa and operational research. Practice on specialized simulation software.
