Course Content (Syllabus)
Single phase AC circuits: definitions, circuits, Ohm and Kirchhoff laws, circuits with resistances, inductances and capacitances, power and power factor, method¬ologies and computations for electrical circuits, circuits with reciprocal imped¬ances, elements of the electromagnetic field theory. Three phase AC circuits: three phase circuits and networks. Electrical installations: components, regulations, types and classes, calculations, applications, elements of illumination theory. Trans-formers: equivalent circuit, types, calculations, applications. DC motors: equivalent circuit, applications, calculations. AC inductions motors: single- and three-phase in¬duction motors. AC synchronous motors: equivalent circuit, applications.
