Learning and academic approach and analysis of the text, in it's theological understanding and ways of its interpretation, as well as interpretive issues which arise in the passage of Muslim history and learning about the various approaches from the Muslim schools.

Course Content (Syllabus)
Qur'an and Tafsir. Interpretation of Modern and Contemporary period. Students become familiar with the Qur'an both in its textual form and in its classical schools of interpretation that have been developed in the course of the Muslim history. Students learn, analyse and approach academically approach the Qur'anic text and its theological understanding, as well as ways of interpreting it. They become aware of the interpretive issues resulting during the long Muslim history and the various exegetical approaches of the various Muslim schools.
