Learning Outcomes
Basic knowledge is offered for the electrostatic and the magnetostatic field in vacuum and in matter at a medium level of difficulty. Essential for "Laboratory of Electrical Circuits" (3rd semester) and "Electromagnetism" (6th semester).

During the semester the students get nine exercise-sets (approximately 50 exercises) via the electronic platform 'elearning'. Within one week they have to submit their solutions. Within the next week this homework is corrected by teaching assistants who are selected among the best students of the previous academic year based on the solutions the tutor provides. Students who successfully submit at least six exercise sets get a bonus of 1/10 points in the final exams.
