Course Content (Syllabus)
A. sterile forms. Generally about microbes. Microbial contamination. Antimicrobial action of chemicals. Sterilization of pharmaceutical preparations. Antimicrobial activity (disc diffusion, broth dilution –minimum bactericidal and minimum inhibitory concentration). Ophthalmic preparations. Injections. Production of pharmaceutical grade water. B. Liquid forms. Oral drug solutions. Water and other solvents. Auxiliary substances. Preparation of pharmaceutical solutions, elixirs, syrups, extracts.

Student Assessment
Description
Oral examination upon handing the Reports of the work from the practical classes. Written three-hour examination at the end of the spring semester, during the September examination period and the winter semester for the graduate students. The evaluation process is based on 6-8 topics from the lessons of the lesson. All issues are equivalent. The scores are posted on the 2nd floor of the Biology-Pharmacy building within 1-2 weeks of the exam day. Each student to be eligible for the written exam must deliver work with a detailed description of the devices and methods he used during the Laboratory Classes as well as present the results on appropriate charts and comment on them by comparing them with others Groups of students on the basis of which they will be examined.
