Learning Outcomes
The aim of the course is to acquire the necessary knowledge for the recognition and understanding of a given prescription and then for its execution by preparing a pharmacopoeia suitable for administration to the patient. The main goal is to acquire knowledge and the ability to identify on the one hand the raw materials used in the manufacture of various pharmacoforms and on the other hand to develop the student's skills in managing these substances and in the ways and methods of preparation of the various dosage forms. Students are further introduced to the handling of laboratory devices required in the formulation of drugs.
