Learning Outcomes
After completing the lectures students will be able to:
- analyze the importance and meaning of contrasts and conflicts in the daily life of children,
- search the theoretical approaches for the management of conflicts in the area of psychology and pedagogy,
- identify ways of managing children's conflict with the Orthodox tradition that can be applied to the parish church's catechism.
Course Content (Syllabus)
The content of this course includes: a) the analysis of the importance of contrasts and of conflict in the daily lives of children and b) recording their responses through examples of Orthodox Christian tradition and the principles of Pedagogy science. At the same time proposed and teaching models for the management and resolution of conflicts in the parish church's catechism. Children, learning to manage conflict and bickering in their interpersonal relationships, appropriate peaceful forms of behavior in cross-cultural society and different, they become carriers of the word of Christ, preserving the Orthodox identity among different religions expressed.
