-to get acquainted with the use of integrals in problems of static electricity. -to calculate the electric field and electric potential in space, when given a continuous, static electric charge distribution. -to calculate the magnetic charge when given a current distribution. -to apply the law of electromagnetic induction in order to calculate the EMF of simple devices -to calculate the intensity of EM radiation when given its characteristics.
