Course Content (Syllabus)
Degree of freedom of the planar mechanisms. Kinematic analysis of planar mechanisms. Graphical, analytical and numerical methods for determination of displacement, velocity and acceleration. Forces and moments of planar mechanisms. Synthesis of linkages. Roberts - Chebishev four bar mechanisms. Mechanisms with gear trains. Mechanisms with cams and followers. Mechanisms for periodic dis¬continue transmission of motion.
