Learning Outcomes
After the successful completion of the course, students are expected to delve into the issues taught, critically approach the current relevant jurisprudence and bibliography, cultivate their skills in writing and presenting papers, and be able to deal independently with new problems that arise in the field of first instance, second instance and cassation trial as well as of ADR.

Course Content (Syllabus)
This section covers the whole procedure before civil courts (ordinary and special procedures), as well as alternative dispute resolution (ADR) methods. This course is primarily intended to delve into the dogmatically and practically important issues of the general civil procedural law, the evidence law and all legal remedies, regular and extraordinary, the theoretical background of which has been taught at undergraduate level. Emphasis is given on the research and evaluation of the rich case law that has been developed in these areas of civil procedure. Legally regulated alternative ways of resolving private disputes, such as arbitration, out-of-court settlement of disputes and mediation, are also examined in depth.
