Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the course, students will know: a) how to apply drug law in court practice, b) the procedural rights of the accused with reference to the provisions of the Constitution, the ECHR and the CPC, c) the the role of the defense counsel of the accused in the criminal proceedings in the light of Article 6 of the ECHR.

Course Content (Syllabus)
The course examines cases of increased difficulty that have occupied the courts and critically analyzes the role of the lawyer in each case, the possibilities offered by the law and the conditions under which he can use them to defend the interests of his client.
The main jurisprudential positions on the interpretation and application of drug legislation are presented.
