Learning Outcomes
Αfter successful completion of the course, students are expected to: 1. Be up to date on inorganic nanomaterials and their prospects 2. Be familiar with the methods of inorganic nanoparticle synthesis by liquid chemistry 3.Be familiar with methods for characterization of inorganic nanoparticles 4.To understand how the properties of inorganic materials vary at the nanoscale 5. Be aware of applications of inorganic nanoparticles of biological interest 6. Be up to date on technological applications of nanoparticles 7. Get to know natural nanomaterials, their improvement methods and applications

Nanomaterials and Nanotechnology, Inorganic Nanoparticles, Coated Inorganic Nanoparticles, Liquid Synthesis Methods (Co-precipitation, Thermal Decomposition, Solvent Thermocrystalline, Microwave, Microemulsions), Isolation, Analytical and characterization Methods, Properties of Inorganic Nanoparticles (magnetic, optical, optical, electrical), natural microporous materials and nanomaterials (clay minerals zeolites), Biomedical applications of inorganic nanoparticles, Labeled nanoparticles for radiopharmaceuticals, Application of nanoparticles to environmental technology, Nano-coatings on metallic surfaces
