Learning Outcomes
1. To allow students to make sense of the world, to discover how people think and act like they do. 2. To introduce students to the methodological foundations and tools to form, investigate, study and research design proposals. 3. To use research as a way of turning the traditional and linear ways of thinking as ways to think transversally.

Course Content (Syllabus)
The aim of this design studio is to critically question the application of computation in design. In an ever-increasing distribution of computational devices at hand and under the pressure that critiques on anthropocentricism put on different disciplines, a logic of synthetic sense emerges and becomes imperative to consider. The modernity has been constructed through simplistic generalisations. The studio searches for the components of synthetic sensing of the distributed network of agents. It aims to blend the organic and inorganic sensing that can be found in molecular to planetary scale.
