Introduction to optical systems for optically switched networks, introduction to photonic integration technologies, getting familiar with integrated photonic technologies for amplification, switching and routing, getting familiar with software suite for optical communications

Optically Switched Networks, WDM Optical Networks, Optical Packet/Circuit Switched Networks, Technologies and Architectures for optical links, routers and switches, basic elements of optical switching systems and signal processing systems, optical interconnects, optical data buses, silicon photonics, semiconductor optical amplifier technologies, Optical Switching Matrix Architectures and technologies
