Learning Outcomes
Students are expected to - get acquainted with the basic teachings of Aristotle on the subjects of logic, epistemology, ontology, natural philosophy, metaphysics, ethics and political philosophy - acquire basic principles that determine the analysis and understanding of ancient philosophical discourse.

Course Content (Syllabus)
Aristotle, "the teacher of those who know" according to Dante, covers most of the fields of knowledge with his philosophical work. The course will introduce students to basic teachings of Aristotle from the fields of logic and epistemology, natural philosophy and the philosophy of biology, ontology, ethics and political philosophy, as well as the philosophy of the first principles.
