Learning Outcomes
The course "Construction Equipment and Methods" is addressed to students of 7th semester of the Department of Civil Engineering, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. After the successful completion of the course, the students will be capable of: 1. calculating the necessary site layouts for construction projects and the necessary auxiliary equipment 2. understanding the construction equipment and their function 3. calculating analytically the productivity of each type of machninery 4. understanding the basic economics aspects of construction machinery 5. understanding and using appropriate tools for construction equipment purchase, replacement and withdrawal
