Introduction to remote sensing, History, Fundamental physics, Satellite remote sensing, Αanalysis of satellite remote sensing components: Satellites (Basic concepts - Satellite Orbits - Characteristics - Types of Satellites) Sensors (Basic concepts - Wavelength ranges and principles of operation - Types and characteristics of Sensors) , Images (Types - Distortion - Restoration and rectification- Interpretation and analysis). Earth observation systems: Applications of satellite remote sensing in the environment with emphasis on air quality
