Course Content (Syllabus)
The Earth system: hydrosphere, atmosphere, lithosphere and biosphere. Global environmental changes. Biogeochemical cycles of carbon, nitrogen, sulfur, phosphorus and oxygen. Basic concepts in thermodynamics and chemistry solutions. Basic mechanisms and principles. Mathematics to simulate biogeochemical cycles.
