Learning Outcomes
In the context of this course students are expected to
-study the main legal issues of partnerships and small corporations
-analyze the internal and extenal corporate affairs
-understand the organizational and contractual nature of the company agreement
-analyze case law
-examine the recent legislative amendments of the company law
Course Content (Syllabus)
The course “Company Law I” examines the legal issues of partnerships and small corporations (Ltd and P.C.) In particular, both the internal corporate affairs (inter alia corporate organs, partnership issues, company-partner relations etc.) as well as the external ones (representation, liability) are analyzed. The organizational and contractual nature of the company agreement is scrutinized. In the context of the course the students are able to critically examine both the case law as well as the recent legislative amendments of the Company Law introduced by law 4072/2012 which changed substantially the legal regime of partnerships and introduced the PC as a new company form.
