Furthermore the folder covers topics that have not been taught in previous semesters. Sometimes, the folder aslo includes decisions of the European Court and of the European Court of Human Rights. Students are generally divided into two or three sections and are taught for four hours per week. The teaching method is oriented to the particular purpose of the course. Unlike previous semesters, the students are invited to participate actively in the learning process, as they are offered the following options: 1) preparation of a parer on one of the taught modules, 2) collective preparation for participation in a special seminar, which takes place during the end of the teaching period and just before the exam, 3) collective preparation to conduct a virtual trial, in which students participate as judges, or legal representatives of the parties. Participation in these activities is optional and not primed rated. The primary goal, however, remains the systematic comfrontation with jurisprudence as well as the understanding of the structure and reasoning of Court Rulings.
