- Know the basic features of Photogrammetry and understand its role in obtaining geospatial data.
- Learn different ways of collecting data using photogrammetric methods.
- Practice the use of photogrammetric software.
- Practice solving basic photogrammetric problems.
Course Content (Syllabus)
Basic concepts. Analog and digital image. Analog and digital sensors. Single image and stereoscopic use of analog and digital images. Programming aerial photography. Photogrammetric surveys, products and their use. Applications of Photogrammetry. Photogrammetric orientations. Radiometric processing of digital images and filters. Production and use of photogrammetric mapping products. Production and use of Digital Terrain Model (DTM). Production and use orthophotos. Practical issues photogrammetric production in Planning.
