Learning Outcomes
This course is focused on German-language films and, in addition to the listening and visual comprehension, will focus on speaking skills and interaction with each other. Above all, we will practice the speech acts of arguing, discussing and expressing one's own opinion, but we will also expand intensively our vocabulary and repeat individual grammatical phenomena. Therefore, continuous attendance and active participation is mandatory.

Course Content (Syllabus)
The focus of the lessons is on training the language skills of listening and speaking. In detail, this includes: • free speak • Interaction • presentation (oral) • listening and taking notes In addition, film-aesthetic interpretation is trained as well as cultural knowledge and sensitivity about Germany.
