Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1.Learning the basic structures of informatics 2. Learning the basic structures of computer use. 3. Learning the basic structures of application programs (Word, Powerpoint) 4. Learning the basic structures on how to use the web and internet services 5. Preparation of exercises on application programs (word processing and creating presentations)

Course Content (Syllabus)
Informatics (basic concepts). Information society. Structure and types of Personal Computers, Operating Systems, Programming Languages and Software Applications, Introduction to WINDOWS, How to use a PC, Management of Files, Systems and Networks, Internet (Internet), Web services (e-mail, www, web portals, ftp etc.) How to use Internet and e-mail, Introduction to WORD, Introduction to POWER POINT, Examples and Applications in Agricultural Sciences.
