Rural tourism is a key means for rural areas to earn income and ensure quality living conditions. It contributes to the regeneration of the rural area and to the elimination of its desertification by creating infrastructure, jobs for young people by creating/maintain jobs in sectors such as trade, transport, hospitality, etc. It also has significant benefits for the rural family and agriculture as it is a channel for the promotion of agricultural products (primary and processed food products as well as handicrafts). It creates additional income, through multitasking, for all members (and especially for the rural woman, thus contributing to their social integration). In the context of "endogenous development", rural tourism mobilizes local natural and human resources to develop business innovations. However, one of the economic figures presented by rural tourism, for the rural areas in which it develops, has positive effects on the social relations between the city and the countryside, on the social integration of rural women, on synergies, is consistent with gaining experience for the tourist.
