2. have understood the mechanisms related to the improvement and management of pasture ecosystems
3. have acquired the ability to identify the main grassland plants
Course Content (Syllabus)
Livestock value of grazing flora. Grazing capacity and factors that affect it. Management and utilization of grazings and pastures and their integration in animal production systems. Grazing systems. Selection of suitable animals for grazing. Pasture technical equipment. Installation of artificial grasslands. The main meadow plants. Types of meadow flora.
