Course Content (Syllabus)
Introduction. Reproduction ability in horses. Reproductive system of mare and stallion. Hormonal conrol of Reproduction. Seasonality of mare.Estrus cycle, pregnancy, parturition. Post partum period. Reproductive physiology of the stallion. Genetic aspects of reproduction. Genetic diversity and inbreeding in Greece. Pedigree books .
