Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to: make effective use of camera movements to create different levels in the shot in relation to the movement of the camera. to use Keyframes make use of steadicam, handheld camera and drone.

Course Content (Syllabus)
At Direction Workshop VI we focus on the narrative function and aesthetic use of blocking with moving camera. We examine camera movements on its axis and on a vehicle. We consider the parallax and its creative use in the moving camera concerning foreground and background. We analyze different forms of tracking and the effective use of Keyframes in the design of a complex camera movement. We consider the creative use of a crane, steadicam, hand-held camera and drone.

Description
In teaching, we are using technologies of moving image and sound reproduction. For the workshop’s projects, the students are using technologies of moving image and sound recording and post-production. Outside classes, one of the ways that we communicate with the students about the courses is via Internet.

Description
Students are assessed on the basis of the following criteria: - The overall result of four assignments made in the workshops (4x10%); - Attendance and participation in the workshops (20%). - The assignment delivered at the end of the semester (40%)

Μετά το τέλος κάθε εργαστηρίου, δίδονται σημειώσεις με τα θέματα του εργαστηρίου, ώστε να μπορούν οι φοιτητές να ανατρέξουν σε αυτά, όποτε χρειαστεί. Επίσης, κάποιες φορές στις σημειώσεις αυτές γίνεται περαιτέρω ανάλυση και μελέτη κάποιων θεμάτων. Ανάλογα με τα θέματα που εξετάζονται, δίδεται πρόσθετη βιβλιογραφία.
