Learning Outcomes
Successful completion of the course is expected to help the students apprehend: a. the way to conceive cultural phenomena and social structures b. the factors that contributed to the marginalization and incrimination of the discourse around sex c. the incrimination of the body d. the role of power -the networks of power created around citizens' education, mechanisms of socially accepted behavior and regularization of normality e.t.c.

Course Content (Syllabus)
The course Theoretical Approaches focuses on Michel Foucault’s book History of Sexuality. It examines the historical overview and interest concerning the birth of the discourse around sex and the social –ideological factors that led to the marginalization and incrimination of sexuality.
