Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the course, students will:
-have completed the realization of their dissertation, with emphasis on theoretical research and artistic practice in the field of contemporary sculpture.
-have documented their research in the selected thesis.
-have the ability to place their proposal among the practices of modern sculptural thinking.
-present their original artistic research to the public as a solo sculpture exhibition.
Course Content (Syllabus)
Realization and completion of the dissertation (Degree show), based on artistic research in the field of contemporary sculpture, which will be publicly exhibited at the end of the 10th semester at the university premises. Students complete and document their research by implementing their sculptural proposal within the frame of contemporary sculptural thinking. The specific proposal is approached within the frame of critical visual discourse concerning issues that address the spectrum of contemporary sculpture and contemporary art research. The students present the product of their original artistic research to the public in the form of a solo sculpture exhibition.
